Music cable channel VH1 presents legendary disco diva Donna Summer, performing live on February 28, 1999 at New York City's famed Hammerstein Ballroom. After years away from the limelight, Donna Summer is back performing the hits that made her a superstar of the 1970's disco club. Here she performs sixteen tunes, including "This Time I Know It's For Real, ""I Feel Love," and "Last Dance". Summer Place

My Summer of Love

Stolen Summer

After being selected as the winner of the PROJECT GREENLIGHT screenwriting contest, Pete Jones got the chance to make his script, STOLEN SUMMER, into a film while an HBO crew taped the process for a reality TV series. The film tells the story of an Irish Catholic boy, Pete (Adi Stein), growing up in 1976 Chicago. Pete becomes concerned that, as one nun at school has repeatedly told him, he's going to go to hell. He decides that the way into heaven is to convert Jews to Catholicism and makes that his mission. The understanding Rabbi Jacobsen (Kevin Pollak) appreciates Pete's interest in religion and encourages Pete on his "quest." Summer of the Monkeys

An adolescent farmboy's otherwise humdrum summer is livened up considerably by the arrival to the woods near his home of four trained performing chimpanzees. The animals fled from the chaos when the train on which they were travelling (with their kindly trainer) violently derailed. Our young hero learns of the generous reward being offered by the chimps' trainer for their safe return and sets himself to the task. His charm, dedication, ingenuity, and support from his loving family aid him as he researches monkey behavior at the town library and thwarts the efforts of his rivals, the local bullies who are attempting to catch the chimps using less-than-humane practices. He also encounters the fabled spooky old hermit of the woods and learns some valuable lessons about the different paths one's life can take and how every choice we make is an opportunity to determine one's own course.
